Portal for information on the industrial mining sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo

The Democratic Republic of Congo is a country with exceptionally rich natural resources, particularly in the mining and oil sectors.

The benefits of the exploitation of these natural resources mean that companies operating in these sectors generally contribute to the state budget through the payment of taxes.

Thanks to the agreements, conventions and joint ventures signed between the Congolese government and foreign companies, the Congolese government has granted operating permits in exchange for loans for social projects.

This section provides information on contracts, legislative texts and other information on natural resource exploitation projects in the DRC.
